ABOUT US
Ceramic parts are produced through a multi-step process. First, ceramic powders are carefully blended and shaped into the desired form using techniques like dry pressing, isostatic pressing, slip casting, or extrusion. After shaping, excess moisture is removed from the ceramic bodies to prevent cracking during firing. This is typically done gradually to avoid rapid moisture loss. Next,The shaped and dried ceramic components are subjected to high temperatures in a controlled atmosphere. During this firing process, the ceramic particles fuse together, and the component shrinks as pores are reduced, resulting in increased density and strength. After firing, ceramic parts might undergo additional processes to achieve the desired surface finish, dimensions, and tolerances. This can include grinding, machining, polishing, and metalizing. Quality control ensures the parts meet specifications. The exact processes vary based on the ceramic material and the intended application of the parts.
